Translations!
Hi everyone!
I know I’ve been quiet for a little while, but I hope these announcements make it worth it!
(Also by the way, have any of you seen Melani Sanders, founding member of the We Do Not Care Club? She is likely in my algorithm because of my age, but I just cannot hear, say, or read the word “announcements” anymore without hearing her voice and laughing!).
I am very excited to share that French and Spanish translations of Declarative Language Handbook are now available on Amazon and IngramSpark!
I have been working with three fabulous people over the past year + to get these books ready for you, and I’d love to give them a shout out.
First, my translators! They each reached out to me because of their personal interest in the book and work we all do together:
Lisa Marcovici - an Educational Kinesthetics Consultant in Montreal has translated the book into French. She is such a joy to work with … so positive, so thorough, so caring.
Miguel Revilla Rodriguez, of OJ Publishing, a small yet dedicated independent publisher specializing in translating and publishing educational works, has translated the book into Spanish. He was diligent and also took such care in the work.
Thank you Lisa and Miguel!
And last but never least, I am eternally grateful for my skilled and always fun graphic designer, Brent Spears. He is the person responsible for the red and light blue covers and images on DL and CR Handbooks that you all know so well, and love as much as I do. For 6 years now, Brent has navigated anything I send his way with care, enthusiasm, and positive energy, and I trust him with everything! If you are looking for someone to visually capture your own work in a unique and memorable way, I encourage you to reach out to him. Thank you Brent!
From your communication with me over the years, I think many of you have been waiting eagerly for these translations … So spread the word, share the books, and I hope they help you or someone you know!
In other news …. An UPCOMING EVENT!
I hope you can join me, Kelsie Bacon, and AEP Connections on November 18th for a repeat live training of our 2-part training on PDA. I really LOVE this training and the information we share. Here are the details!
Part 2: Supporting PDA Individuals with Declarative Language (with me!)
There is a sale price now for the first 50 registrants, and if you sign up for both, you get a 20% discount. I would be thrilled if you can join us!
And … PODCASTS!
Last, I wanted to share two in-depth podcast conversations that I really enjoyed since my last post. In April I chatted with Dr. Taylor Day on Evolve, and then this summer I connected with Brooke Wagner on Finding Hope on the Spectrum. You can find them and others here!
Have a great week!
